Space volumetrics analysis across national estate

Tructyre offer a full tyre service for commercial vehicles across the UK. For over 3yrs, we have been providing a full property management service across their 70 UK sites – made up of distribution and satellite hubs which enable the fast-track movement of stock as it becomes needed.

We were asked to undertake a detailed analysis of their portfolio to identify their estate’s capabilities and shortcomings. Using BIM modelling, our team assessed EHS Compliance, Asset Management, Energy Usage and Space Planning (relevant to stock). Our BIM models of individual sites and volumetric and space planning reports enabled operations to develop enhanced planning models, more effective KPIs for stock location and movement (‘Cost per Sq. Ft.’) and move forward with their WMS project and an energy reduction program (lead by our team)

We went on to create a Model Site (See animation) setting a new site standard, benefiting Tructyre’s expansion program and their  searches for ideal, new hubs.
